As part of a professional development programme organised by the Silah Foundation for Development – Daw'an Branch, Hadhramout International Schools (HIS) welcomed a delegation of school leaders, deputy headteachers, and social workers from Daw'an District for an educational field visit aimed at exploring the school's successful administrative and educational practices.
The delegation was led by Mr Omar Abdullah Basamad Al-Amoudi, Director of the Education Office in Daw'an District, accompanied by Mr Ahmed Yaslam Balfakhar, Director of the Silah Foundation for Development – Daw'an Branch, Mr Yaslam Omar Bamafleh, Director of Educational Programmes at the Foundation, together with participants in the training programme.
The visitors were received by Mr Mohammed Sheikh Banafa, Principal of Hadhramout International Schools, who welcomed the delegation and conducted a comprehensive tour of the school's facilities and learning environments. He also presented an overview of the school's institutional leadership model, administrative systems, educational programmes, strategic planning and monitoring processes, and the best practices that have contributed to enhancing educational quality and organisational excellence.
During the visit, Mr Omar Abdullah Basamad Al-Amoudi praised the school's outstanding standards of educational and administrative performance, commending its notable achievements, particularly the excellent results attained by its students in internationally recognised qualifications. He described the school as an exemplary model of educational excellence and effective institutional leadership.
The visit formed part of the programme's practical component, enabling participants to observe successful educational practices first-hand, exchange professional experiences, and benefit from innovative approaches that can contribute to improving performance within their own schools.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed its sincere appreciation to the School Administration for its warm hospitality and the valuable experience shared during the visit, emphasising that it provided an excellent opportunity to learn from one of the region's leading educational institutions and to strengthen collaboration in pursuit of continuous educational excellence.
