In support of cultural activities and the development of students' creative talents, students from Hadhramout International Schools (HIS) participated in the School Theatre Competition, which commenced on 19 April 2026 along the Hadhramout Coast as part of the Second School Theatre Development Project.

The school's participation reflects its commitment to nurturing students' talents in the performing arts while enhancing their communication skills, teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence. The students delivered an outstanding theatrical performance that received widespread appreciation from both the audience and the judging panel.

The project is implemented by the Theatre Department of the Hadhramout Foundation for Culture, in collaboration with the Governorate's Education Offices, with the aim of discovering and developing young talent while reinforcing the role of school theatre as an effective educational and developmental tool.

The school administration affirmed that participation in such events forms an integral part of its strategy to promote extracurricular activities, provide students with opportunities to showcase their abilities, and contribute to developing a creative, confident, and socially responsible generation.
