As part of efforts to strengthen practical learning and link theoretical knowledge with real-world experience, Hadhramout International Schools organised a field trip for its students to the Al-Mahdar Red Brick Factory, as part of its educational programmes aimed at developing students’ skills and enriching their experiences.

The student delegation was received by the Executive Director, Engineer Mazen Abdulrahman Baabab, and the Purchasing Manager, Mr Mohammed Omar Al-Mahdar, who welcomed the students and expressed their delight at this visit, which promotes industrial awareness among the younger generation.

During the visit, the students were shown the stages of red brick manufacturing, starting with the preparation of raw materials, through the shaping and firing processes, to the final product, with the factory team providing a detailed explanation of the techniques used and the quality standards followed in production.

The students were also given the opportunity to ask questions and interact directly with the specialists, which helped to enhance their understanding of local industries and their role in supporting the national economy.

The school management expressed their thanks and appreciation to the management of Al-Mahdar Factory for their warm welcome.
